Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – Gateway Between Continents

Welcome to Tangier, where Europe and Africa nearly touch. Upon arrival, you’ll feel the coastal breeze as we begin exploring this historic port city. Walk the whitewashed kasbah, take in the sweeping views at Cape Spartel, and, if time allows, descend into the legendary Hercules Caves. Settle into your riad and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: From the White City to the Blue Pearl – Tangier to Chefchaouen

We leave the coast and climb into the tranquil Rif Mountains. After a brief stop in Tetouan, with its fascinating blend of Spanish and Moorish influences, we continue to Chefchaouen — Morocco’s famous “Blue City.” Here, every corner is a postcard, every alley a painting. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon discovering this serene mountain town.

Day 3: Serenity in Chefchaouen

Today is yours to slow down and enjoy the magic of Chefchaouen. Sip mint tea in a sunny plaza, shop for local crafts in the medina, or take a short hike to the Spanish Mosque for a panoramic view at sunset. It’s the perfect day to breathe, reflect, and soak in the peace of this mystical town.

Day 4: Ancient Roads – Chefchaouen to Fes via Volubilis and Meknes

We descend from the Rif to explore Morocco’s layers of history. First, the Roman ruins of Volubilis tell tales of ancient empire. Then it’s on to Meknes, a city of royal stables and grand gates. By day’s end, we arrive in Fes — spiritual and scholarly, this city will be our base for deeper discovery.

Day 5: Fes – A City Frozen in Time

A local guide will lead you through the medieval maze of Fes el-Bali, one of the world’s most complete Islamic cities. Marvel at mosaic-covered mosques, peek into ancient madrasas, and witness traditional crafts still thriving in narrow souks. You’ll see why Fes is known as the cultural heart of Morocco.

Day 6: Into the Sahara – Fes to Merzouga

Today we cross the Middle Atlas, stopping in the alpine town of Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou. As landscapes shift, palm groves and kasbahs appear along the Ziz Valley. By late afternoon, we reach Merzouga — gateway to the Sahara. Mount a camel and ride into the dunes, where a desert camp awaits beneath a sky full of stars.

Day 7: Desert Sunrise to Mountain Valleys

Rise early to witness the Sahara come alive with the first light. After breakfast, we ride back through the dunes and begin our journey to Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs create a dramatic oasis. The day ends in the Dades Valley, a land of winding roads and fortified mud villages — the real Morocco behind every postcard.

Day 8: Kasbah Trails – Dades to Skoura and Ait Ben Haddou

Journey through Morocco’s Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, starting in Dades Valley where towering cliffs and ancient fortresses dot the landscape. Continue to Skoura, an oasis brimming with date palms and the 17th-century Kasbah Amridil, offering a glimpse into Berber life. As we travel deeper into history, we reach Ait Ben Haddou, the iconic UNESCO kasbah that has starred in films like Gladiator. Walk its narrow streets, climb to panoramic views, and witness the timeless beauty of Morocco’s southern landscapes, where centuries of culture and architecture converge. Overnight in Ait ben haddou village.

Day 9: Over the Mountains – Ait ben haddou village to Marrakech

Crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass is a journey of awe. Every turn offers breathtaking views, Berber villages, and terraced hillsides. By late afternoon, the red walls of Marrakech rise from the plains. The city is electric with life, and your senses will come alive as you arrive.

Day 10:The Magic of Marrakech

Today is a deep dive into the magic of Marrakech. Wander the serene courtyards of Bahia Palace, admire the intricacy of Saadian Tombs, and lose yourself in the labyrinthine souks. The Majorelle Garden provides a quiet pause before the day ends in the lively chaos of Jemaa el-Fnaa, where musicians, storytellers, and food vendors bring the city to life.

Day 11: Atlantic Breeze – Marrakech to Essaouira

We swap city bustle for ocean breeze as we drive west to the coast. Essaouira welcomes you with whitewashed walls, blue shutters, and salty air. Explore its historic ramparts, watch the fishing boats come in, and enjoy a plate of fresh seafood as waves crash nearby. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay forever.

Day 12: Essaouira – A Day to Drift

Wake up with the sound of gulls and the scent of sea air. This is your free day to relax — browse art galleries, stroll the beach, ride a camel along the coast, or simply enjoy coffee in a sunlit square. Essaouira’s charm lies in its gentle pace, and today is all about letting it slow you down.

Day 13: The Coastline to Casablanca

We follow the Atlantic northward, passing sleepy villages and open ocean views. If time allows, stop in El Jadida to see the haunting beauty of the old Portuguese cistern. In Casablanca, the grand Hassan II Mosque awaits — perched over the sea and open to visitors, it’s a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture.

Day 14:Casablanca – Rabat – Tangier (Departure)

Our final day blends reflection and discovery. A short stop in Rabat offers a final taste of imperial splendor — from the Kasbah of the Udayas to the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Then we journey back to Tangier for your departure, your heart full of memories from mountains, medinas, and magical desert nights.
